Yeah, I loved Judy Blume - I remember when "Are You There God? It's Me Margaret" was banned from my elementary school. xxxAngloyankophilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13798135990583648390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3743876470050160495.post-35135352173789711042010-02-17T22:00:30.145+00:002010-02-17T22:00:30.145+00:00I am so excited - I feel famous! I have just read ...I am so excited - I feel famous! I have just read this out word-for-word to Sam (who is randomly lying face down on the lounge floor with a bag of iced peas on his back). There was lots of muffled laughter from the floorboards! When I read Judy Blume books as a tween, and watched Grease on video casette, my biggest mystery was what kind of cake a twinky was. Everyone seemed to eat twinkies. Love Lins (because I still can't work out how not to be anonymous)xxxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3743876470050160495.post-18030517636329748262010-02-17T14:58:05.155+00:002010-02-17T14:58:05.155+00:00I still think I prefer sponge cake because it'...I still think I prefer sponge cake because it's lighter. But fruit cake certainly has its merits so I ain't knocking it! xoAngloyankophilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13798135990583648390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3743876470050160495.post-84042954325146856612010-02-17T13:17:48.367+00:002010-02-17T13:17:48.367+00:00that is pretty exciting. My roomate made red velvet and chocolate fudge cake last night. But I do agree with you, the fruit cake that lasts forever, along with thick frosting, is indeed scrumptious. Here, cake life (especially boxed cake) has a yummy-life of about 4 days max and a half-life of 2 days.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
